About Mrs. Roller
Hello! Welcome to First Grade! I am Monica Roller. I am very excited to have you all in my class this year and look forward to watching you grow. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I am so excited to work with you and your child. It’s going to be an amazing year filled with fun, learning, and adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Chris Roller, the P.E. teacher at Peculiar Elementary. We have a daughter {Lizzy} who is in fifth grade and a son {Brock} who is in second grade.
I have lived in Raymore most of my life and graduated from Ray-Pec. I graduated from University of Central Missouri with my early childhood and elementary education degree in 2008. I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University in 2014.
This will be my thirteenth year teaching at Ray-Pec. I taught second grade for two years and I've been teaching first grade for eleven years. This will be my fourth year teaching first grade at Peculiar Elementary. I absolutely love teaching first grade! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to a great year together!
